Adult Children Of Emotionally Immature Parents Group
This is a closed, weekly, support group based on the book series by Dr. Lindsay Gibson. It can be in-person or virtual. This group is for healing and finding ways to manage relationships with or around emotionally immature parents/people.
The Artist’s Way Counseling Group
Overcome creative blocks and limiting beliefs, reconnect with your creative identity, and find the support and encouragement of fellow artists. Using Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way as our guide, this 12-week group provides a supportive and nonjudgmental space to rediscover and explore your creative self. Each week we will engage in collaborative conversations inspired by the book’s creative exercises, which are designed to help you identify and overcome obstacles to creative fulfillment and recapture the joy of artistic expression. This group is open to artists of all kinds, at all stages of their creative journey. Meets Wednesdays from 6-7:30pm, $30/session.
Radical Relationships 8 week LGBTQ+ Group
This group is a space for queer/trans folks wanting to reconstruct their relationship to self, others, and society. Participants will engage with the group healing process through psychoeducation, art therapy, and skill-building to increase self-compassion and interpersonal effectiveness. Group members are invited to process communally, supporting one another with their full selves (sexuality, gender, race/ethnicity, immigration status, religion/spirituality, etc) and the facilitation of a clinician-in-training. 8 weeks in-person, $5-20 sliding scale.
Young Adult LGBTQ+ Support Group
This group is a healing space for queer and trans folks age 18-25 to connect with other LGBTQIA+ community members amidst ongoing sociopolitical pain. Facilitated by a mental health professional but directed by group members, participants are invited to process communally, supporting one another with their full LGBTQ+ self (sexuality, gender, race/ethnicity, immigration status, religion/spirituality, etc). $5-20 sliding scale.
